Case #15 21 yr old suffered multiple injuries to body
and head as a result of a motorcycle accident. STAR used to close
multiple fasciotomy wounds and abdomen after a decompressive laporotomy
was performed. The STAR, STAR PADS, and ABGuard (WoundTEK; Abdominal
Closure Kit) were all used in conjunction with the KCI V.A.C. To close
complicated wounds and completely avoid skin grafting.
